March 2015- Wildlife Safari, Allergies, and a Carnival

The year of fun continued in March! We crossed another item off our list by taking the girls to a Duck Basketball game. They had a lot of fun, but the highlight was clearly the snacks. Bella especially got into the game, yelling DEFENSE!

On a not so fun note, Bella got a skin test done to find out if she was still allergic to almonds. Her doctor prescribed an Epi-pen, so we decided to find out if we needed to have a plan for her school when she starts kindergarten. Great news! She isn't allergic anymore!
March also brought the annual Congregational Preschool Carnival. The girls had such a fun time playing that the only photos I got were of their face paintings. Bella Butterfly.

Natalia the Bee.
Another item off the Year of Fun list was a trip to Wildlife Safari. We took Bella when she was little, but she didn't remember.
The girls had a great time walking through the village and seeing the turtles, farm animals, snakes, and monkeys.
See the looks on their faces... pure joy!
The highlight was the drive through portion where you can get up close to the wild animals. We had an encounter with a rhino (which the workers told us were aggressive and to avoid) when they blocked the road. Overall, it was a fun adventure!
More doctor's appointments! In March I had two atypical moles removed. I thought this office/ OR was really creepy, but it all turned out okay.
We had some hang out time as a family, too. We took the girls to Barry's for delicious cookies.
And we visited Jose at work.

Bella put together some very fancy outfits. She wore this to the store.
This one around the house.
And this to sail the high seas.
We also did a little rearranging of the playroom. The carpet is very fuzzy!

Oh, look. Another doctor's visit. This time for a double ear infection and bad asthma. The good news is that we finally got a nebulizer for our house, so the girls aren't as wheezy!

After the treatment, back to silly monkeys.

Natalia also went through a really funny phase where she would fall asleep playing the ipad. We frequently found her like this after a few minutes of quiet time.
