The end of April brought an exciting milestone... Jose's cousin Pili got married!
The Eugene airport carpet may not be iconic, but we are doing our part.

Jose looking like a stranger in glasses and a beard.
(I am writing this post almost a year later, and OMG that beard! I do not miss it.)
Natalia is vacation ready with the Leappad.
This is how we wait for our plane. Good thing Pig Pen is not a germaphobe.
Bella being safe, of course.

And this is why we don't live in California. Upon landing and renting a car, we spent the next hour in traffic trying to get out of LA. Bella said, "Is this why we don't come to California?" Yes. Yes, it is.

Somehow, Jose is always the last to get ready. The good news is we girls are very self-entertaining.

The ceremony was beautiful! Pili and Jose (yes, another Jose in the family) were so happy and smiley!

Catholic weddings typically have a break between the ceremony and
reception, so we opted to get McDonald's and chill in the hotel room.
And take lots of selfies.

The girls had such a fun time with their family dancing the night away!

Natalia danced herself right to sleep.

The next morning we rendezvoused with all of the cousins in the hotel lobby. It is so crazy to see all these kids in one place. Also, once again my children are giants. Bella is the fourth or fifth oldest, but the tallest.
We also got a picture of the original cousin crew, minus Pili. Jose has been surrounded by girls his whole life. No wonder he is so mellow.

After a brief visit in the lobby, followed by a quick lunch (with a table for 30), we headed back down south to Santa Ana. Bella and Talia were so excited to get to stay at Aiden's house all week! First stop on the agenda was a trip to Knott's Berry Farm.

It was so hot! The kids had an amazing time with their cousin riding the rides.

Natalia did not enjoy this particular ride so much!

We wrapped up the day with a funnel cake. Yadira had been craving one all day! What the pregnant lady wants, the pregnant lady gets.

During our visit, I got a glimpse into what life would be like with three kids. I realized I would need another hand!

For all of you that have ever had breakfast (or tequila) with Jose, you know this man loves orange juice. L-O-V-E-S it! Everyday of our trip, he would walk out to the backyard, pick oranges from the tree, and make fresh juice. He was obsessed! If only citrus would grow well in the Oregon climate.

Toward the end of our visit, Yadi and I had a mini girls night at Paint Nite.

I was a little unsure of how our masterpieces would turn out.

But the process was fun.

And the pictures weren't too shabby, either. I am going to need to start a gallery for my wine night paintings. Probably somewhere where they aren't too visible. The attic, maybe?

The next day Aiden had to meet his new school teacher, so our family went to the mall near their house. Each season the carousel changes, and we were near Easter, so the girls rode bunnies.

We had a classic California lunch.
And ended our trip with a visit to Dave & Buster's. The kids had a blast! All we hear lately is how sad they are that Chuck E Cheese moved away (they closed the one in our town). This was a great substitute!

Jenna and Wren also came down from Glendale to see us! And slay robots?

We ended with a barbeque at the Bowen's house. It is always so fun to visit with them!
