This year was the first year that we have been to the show part of the Springfield Cruz. We had been to the actual cruise a few times, but decided to check out the daytime events.
I think this is our new favorite! There were a TON of cars, trucks, and boats. The set up was in a middle school field, so it was not as cramped and hot as others that take place around here.
Bella enjoyed driving the fire truck.
Plus, there were a ton of food options and vendors. Everyone got to enjoy their favorite part... shaved ice!
The next weekend, Jose convinced us all to hike up Spencer's Butte. It is about an hour and a half hike if you take the kids. We had a LOT of water breaks.
Jose carried Natalia the entire way.
The view at the top was beautiful, as always.
But hot!
Bella was so proud that she made it up!
That night she said to Jose, "Daddy, let's never do that again."
