Independence Day- July 2013

We, once again, spent the 4th of July in Creswell. In the morning, I attended the annual parade with the girls and Kandice. This year, a friend of Lesa and Dave had won a parade spot at the annual booster auction. They parked several trucks on the lot, and it was the perfect place to view the parade. Plus, it was in the shade!

After the parade, we walked back to Dave and Lesa's to hang out. Natalia enjoyed a bit of croquet.
Bella adopted a new BFF for the day. Jennifer's daughter, Madi, was so sweet and played with Bella all afternoon.
Later, we drove home to get ready for our BBQ. My parents came over, and we ate hot dogs and burgers. Then, it was fireworks time! In years past, Bella has been freaked out by the noise and smoke. We went to the fireworks stand and picked out some pretty, non-loud kind.
Some kids down the street wandered over and helped Bella throw her stash of Pop-Its on the sidewalk. Then came fountain/ firework time. Bella was still not really impressed, but Natalia was a big fan.
