This summer, our family returned to Black Butte Ranch for a week long vacation. When we were growing up, our family went almost every year on Labor Day weekend.
The drive to Eastern Oregon is about two hours, so we stopped at Sahalie Falls for a little break and a small hike.
At the ranch, there is so much to do! There are four pools, a few parks, basketball and tennis courts, two golf courses, a lodge, restaurant, and miles of bike paths. The girls loved playing at the park.
The whole crew also hiked to the top of Black Butte (the actual mountain). As you may notice, Bella and I are not pictured. We made it about 3/4 of the way up, and she decided she was done, and I was done carrying her. Remind me of this next time we think hiking with a child is a good idea.
It was really fun to spend time with my whole family. (Jose is not pictured, but I can't find the one with him in it.)
My sisters and I were put in charge of food. Jose was a great help in the kitchen!

The absolute most favorite thing to do all week was go to the pool! It was nice and warm all week long.
They had delicious ice cream for an after pool treat.
Bike riding was also quite popular.
We tried to do a bit of everything while we were there. We tested out the horseshoe pits, played yahtzee, raced a find Mario game on the WiiU (I have no clue about the actual name), played tennis, and more!
Hopefully, we can do it again soon!
