Enchanted Forest with The Bowens

While the Bowens were here, we took the kids up to Enchanted Forest. It is a little theme park about an hour north of here with lots of activities for kids. Bella and Aiden are just about the right age to enjoy the park.

But first, time to hug!
When you first walk in, there is a little castle to walk through. It is not quite Disneyland.

But these two did not seem to mind. They were pretty excited.

The first section is themed around fairy tales. Here they were exploring the mines from Snow White and the Dwarves.
Peering in the windows of Snow White's house.

Trying to traverse the Crooked House.
This is the rabbit hole from Alice in Wonderland. Bella and I crawled through to the other side.
Humpty Dumpty.
Peter who put his wife in a pumpkin shell. (Wait, I never realized how ridiculous some of these nursery rhymes were until I was typing this. I am pretty sure this is kidnapping. He couldn't keep his wife so he locked her in a pumpkin!)

The favorite, by far, was the slide from the Old Woman and the Shoe. They went down this at least twenty times.
Natalia was unimpressed.

The next section of the park is a western town. The kids panned for treasure, explored the caves, and went on the roller coaster.

The back portion of the park has lots of kiddie rides. Aiden and Bella went on the Ferris Wheel.
Bumper boats.
And the train. They had a blast even though it started to rain.
Thanks to Yadira for taking all these wonderful pictures!
