Let It Snow!

We had snow! Yesterday morning we woke up to a white blanket over our backyard. I ventured off to work in the ice, but ended up coming home early. Jose brought Bella to my work on his way to work because there was no way we were getting Bella up a steep, icy hill to her Abuelitas.

Instead, Bella and I spent the day indoors reading, singing, watching Dora the Explorer, and rearranging some furniture while the snow fell outside. After some reconfiguring, I think there is room for our Christmas tree after all. Yay!

We also had a photo shoot with our neighbor, Ruth. She brought over her camera and umbrella light to take pictures of Bella. She always has such great ideas! I don't know which picture we will use for our Christmas card, but here is a preview. If it is this one... act surprised.
