This time of year it is usually rainy in Eugene, so we try to find lots of indoor activities. Last Thursday, Bella and I headed off to our bi-weekly visit to the Eugene Public Library. Bella LOVES the library. She likes playing with the other kids in the childrens' section, or she will just sit there and pull book after book off the shelf. It is a great way to spend a few hours on a rainy day. However, it was Veteran's Day, so the library was closed. (Do vets not like to read? Rude!) Instead, we went to the mall to walk around and play with the toys. And try on hats.
Saturday was another chilly, rainy day. We went to the library again, this time with success! Then we were off to Grampa and Gramma Jamma's to watch the Duck game. They had found a barnyard toy in the closet that made animal noises. Have I mentioned that Isabella loves all things animal? She had a fantastic time playing with her new farm.
She also enjoyed her delicious dinner, thanks to Gramma. Broccoli and rice. Yum!
If only you had FRIDAYs off work. Clare & I go to the downtown library for baby storytime at 11:15 am. It's packed with babies and fun times. Last week, it was baby massage day. I'm having a hard time holding Clare in one hand and a book in the other hand. She wants to put everything in her mouth. A pacifier will distract her just enough to get through a board book. Is Bella still your precious little goat?!! KV
