Isabella has been asking to go to the pumpkin patch for weeks now. Last Wednesday, the weather was still very nice and Jose was off work. We piled in the car and drove a few minutes to Thistledown Farm.
Typically, we go to another farm on the same road, but thanks to our buddies Ed and Katie we had free pumpkins here. I am so glad we went to this farm. It was much more low key, and there was a lot to do! Bella loved looking at all the animals. They had a pony, tiny goats, horses, and a turkey right by the hayride.
We chose to skip the hayride out to the actual pumpkin patch, but we did spend quite some time at the hay maze! Both the girls loved it!
They especially loved the slide at the end!
Natalia was fascinated by all the hay.
There was also a pen where you could go in and hang out with the goats. Bella was super excited to get up close and pet them. The other girl in this picture took a headbutt to the stomach, though. .JPG)
Afterward, we went back up front to the store and picked out pumpkins and some apples to make a crisp. We also saw Santa picking out a pumpkin. (Seriously, it looked just like Santa: white beard, jolly belly, and he was wearing a red shirt with green suspenders.) Bella thinks it was for his reindeer.
