Pumpkin Carving

Friday night, we attended the annual pumpkin carving event at church. The girls were very excited to dress up in their Halloween costumes! Bella is a raccoon.

Natalia is a butterfly.

Gramma Jamma helped wrangle the girls. This mostly involved us taking turns chasing Natalia around and attempting to keep her away from the sharp knives and pumpkin guts. This was the first time Bella had carved a pumpkin. She couldn't wait!

Natalia was more excited about the saw.

Gramma Jamma scooped out the pumpkin guts.

After we were done, Bella had some story time with Gramma Jamma.

I chased Natalia.

Somehow, our evenings always end with the girls wrestling on the floor.

All the pumpkins were lit.

The kids all posed for a picture in front of their creations.

They were pretty cute!
