Thanksgiving was a laid back affair. Jenna's boyfriend, Wren, came up from LA and Jose's family joined us for dinner. Each year, we all have our duties in preparing the meal. My dad BBQs the turkey, I make broccoli cheese casserole, Jill makes the mashed potatoes, my mom makes the dressing, cranberry salad, and rolls, and Jenna makes everything else. Jose is the official turkey carver.
This year Jill was in D.C. so Jenna made the potatoes. Jenna also made broccoli cheese casserole for her work potluck, and made an extra for dinner while she was at it. I got off easy, so I made green beans.
We spent most of the day relaxing and playing before dinner.
