Grampa Sam Turns 90

Last week, the whole family headed out to Missouri for my Grampa's 90th birthday. I was worried about taking a 2 month old and a 2 1/2 year old on the plane, but they were both amazing!

It helped that we had lots of hands on deck. My mom, dad, and sister were all on the same flights as us. Tia Jill met us at the airport and we piled in the 12 passenger van.

It was so great to see my Grampa. He is still in remarkable great health for a 90 year old. We spent a lot of time visiting with him.
On Saturday night, there was a party at his favorite restaurant on The Hill, Rigazzi's. Some of my cousins I hadn't seen in 12 years, so it was also a mini reunion. I will post some more pictures of this once I get them from my mom.

Jose and I decided to take the girls back in a few years in the summer to do all the fun St. Louis stuff that I remember from when I was little: the zoo, Magic House, Grant's Farm, and more.
