We Live in the Jungle

Our front yard has this mimosa tree. It is awful! It stays bare until almost summer. It blooms pretty pink fuzzy blooms, then immediately drops them into the lawn. It sheds these pea pod looking leaves which are impossible to rake. Plus, it grows weirdly over itself and kills its own branches with shade.

 So, Jose gave it a little trim.

 Soon, it looked like a jungle.

Bella was a great help picking up! Hopefully this will save us some clean up next year.
