Oregon Zoo 2012

My last few weeks at home with the girls, I wanted to plan an adventure for each week. I also needed to keep these adventures relatively cheap because my last few weeks of maternity leave are unpaid. While researching some ideas, I noticed that the Oregon Zoo had a discount and the 2nd Tuesday of each month was only $4. So, on October 9th, the girls and I headed up to Portland with Tia Jenna.

 Bella is at an age now where she really got excited about seeing the animals!

 The giraffe was her favorite.

 Waiting in line to board the train. Jenna wore that blanket/scarf all day long like a gramma. It was cute!

 Waiting to depart. All aboard! Bella got excited when the conductor yelled that. "Just like Dinosaur Train, mama!"

 Natalia was a little worried.

 Choo, choo! Take us to the elephants!

 She was moderately amused once we were moving.

Bella also realy liked the leopard house.

It was a great adventure!
