My dad's company is a sponsor of the Rose Festival in Portland, so each year he gets tickets to the parade. This year, Bella and I were invited to go with them for the weekend.
We stayed at the Sheraton Airport (my dad's other home), and Bella was in heaven. She got VIP treatment from Grampa.
Jumped on the bed.
Told everyone where to sit.
And went swimming.
Plus, she got a trip to Red Robin and got a balloon. Pretty much a perfect day for her.
Saturday, I dragged her out of bed, and we went to pick up Jenna and Wren and get our seats. First, there was a delicious breakfast. Then Bella and I hung out with Blaze and watched the UO players and Blazer cheerleaders hang out and sign autographs.
Once the parade begun, Bella was fascinated. She loved the horses and the marching bands the best. Her band dances are awesome!
Before heading home we went to lunch at McMenamins with the fam.
Then, back home to Jose. It was a great, and busy, trip!
You are a busy mom! I got exhausted reading all the fun trips you take with Bella! How do you do it? Coffee all day? Some happy pill I should know about? Glad to see you all having a fun summer. I miss you! KV
