The Baby Plague

Late last week, Bella started feeling crummy. I thought she was just teething because she had her usual runny nose, low grade fever, non eating, general crankiness that comes with it. Plus, I could feel three new teeth poking through. So, last Thursday, we laid low... no adventures.

Friday, we had a wedding to go to. One of Jose's former co-workers was getting hitched in Junction City. He had to work until 7:30, but Bella and I got gussied up and went out there. The place was beautiful, very green and a little pond, but Bella was just interested in the rocks. (Maybe she will be a geologist?)

When we got home, I was not feeling well. It was late, and I just put Bella to bed and fell asleep feeling achy. Then we got woken up at 11, 11:30, 12, 1, etc. by Bella. At 2 am we all woke up with 100 degree + fevers. So.... that was fun. We all took tylenol and spent the next 18 hours or so dying on the bed/couch. Bella watched lots of Yo Gabba Gabba. Not a good weekend.

Sunday we all felt a little better. We all went to church. Then, Jose did some yard work while Bella and I made cookies. I taught her the most important step... licking the beater. She cried when it was all gone.

Luckily, we are all feeling better. The cookies helped!
