Jose and I get a little kid free window each night, from about 9:15 to 10 pm, to wind down and watch tv before bed. By this point, we are usually very tired, so something easy to follow is important. Jose is really into any of the reality shows about finding treasures: Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Storage Wars, Auction Hunters, etc. The other night we tuned in to watch Extreme Couponing. This show is CRAZY! It follows various people who spend 40 or so hours each week researching and planning shopping trips. They collect coupons, and make an elaborate plan, and end up spending $5 on $600 worth of groceries. Most of them have storehouses in their extra rooms to keep toothpaste, canned food, etc.
So... Jose thinks I should be an extreme couponer. But not so extreme, maybe a moderate couponer. This week I actually looked online to see what the specials were at the grocery store. We will see how it goes.
