My Little Kitchen Helper

When I get home from work each night, Bella and I spend quite a lot of time in the kitchen. We make dinner for all of us, do dishes, put dishes away, and sometimes bake treats. As Bella gets older, she is much more self entertaining, and surprisingly helpful. She has her very own drawer of kid friendly kitchen items (mainly cookie cutters and ice cube trays). It usually keeps her entertained long enough for me to get dinner in the oven. Her favorite thing is to completely unpack the entire drawer. Here is an example:

One of her other favorite kitchen activites is helping me unload the dishwasher. She stands there while I unload the top drawer, and when we get to the bottom drawer she hands me each piece of silverware to put away, one-by-one. It is very cute!
