#11 Check

Today I completed another item from my 30 Before 30 List. I was in the audience for a taping of The Ellen Show.

I follow Ellen on Twitter and last night she promised a surprise for Oregon. I checked all morning, and she finally tweeted for people in Eugene to head down to the EMU by 2:30 dressed in your fiesta attire. They were giving away BCS tickets!

So I called my sister-in-law, Stephanie. We rounded up some ponchos and sombreros and off we went.







Unfortunately, we didn't make the top 10 (although I think we were definitely top ten worthy). It was super packed! No tickets for us. Which was ok, I guess, because Jose would have been really mad if we left him at home.




We did, however, make the news. We were also interviewed by the Register Guard. It was quite an adventure!
