Jose had a pretty great Father's Day weekend. On Saturday, the girls and I bought him his present (a wheelbarrow and grass seed) and made a scavenger hunt for him to find it.
The wheelbarrow was put to immediate use, as Jose had found some stones he wanted to buy on Craigslist just a few blocks from our house. So, we loaded up the truck and went to see them.
200 stones later, we were in business... and also $200 poorer.
Jose thought we might break the truck, but we made it home and unloaded them.
That night, we went to our usual Saturday family dinner at Elmer's. The next day I took the girls to church while Jose slept in. We brought back lunch, ate, then Jose took another nap.
All that rock lifting must have wore him out. He and Natalia slept while I took Bella to a birthday party. Then, we all met up for dinner at Jalisco. Yum!
