At the beginning of June, the girls and I ventured up to Portland to see the Grand Floral Parade. The ride up was very uneventful. Bella took a little siesta.
Natalia watched some Dora and Elmo.
After a quick dinner with my parents at Wendy's (where the girls discovered the joy of a Frosty) we took a dip in the pool. This is one of their most favorite things to do.
The next day, we walked a few blocks to the parade viewing area, grabbed some breakfast, and settled in to watch the parade. We had a hard time finding a spot, but in the end my mom just plopped down in the aisle with the girls. About a third of the way through, some people in the front row left and we got great front row seats.
These seats came with props.
We also were on camera, and I got several messages that friends had seen us on tv. Hopefully, dressed as pirates.
