More House, More Projects

Jose joked that since he finished all the projects we had on our list, it was time to find a new house. Before we even moved, we made a list of the projects that we wanted to do along with a budget. Many a weekend was spent at home improvement stores.

One of the main things Jose is focusing on this summer is the backyard. It is a great space, and pretty big, but it was overgrown and set up in an odd way.
After he put an ad on Craigslist, the chicken coop was gone within hours.
Apparently there is quite a market out there for backyard chickens/ man prisons.

The girls love having more room to play. The playroom is always messy, but I figure that is how a playroom should be.

This is my favorite spot in the house. Our master bedroom has a deck that overlooks the backyard and is a great spot for afternoon sun!

Natalia likes running around the neighborhood. This tree is about her speed for climbing.

Behold the wood paneling. It is kind of growing on me. It was on my list of things to change, but now I am not sure. Neon green paint (in the upper right corner) is going for sure!

After a long day of work/ play!

Here is another view of the wood paneling/ 70s fireplace. We will redo the fireplace eventually.

Fun in the cul-de-sac. Natalia knows she isn't supposed to go in the street so she will run around to the neighbor's on the sidewalk.
