First House Lasts

Our final week at the Teralee house was a little crazy. Closing on the old and new house had been delayed at escrow by the buyer's lender. We had packed up most of our things (except the big furniture), and our cable had been shut off, so we spent a lot of time outside or trying to finish up projects.

On one of our last days at the house, the ice cream truck came by. This was one of our favorite activities last summer, and we will miss his daily trips (plus he was really inexpensive). We gave him our new address, but I am not hopeful that our new house is on his route.

The girls enjoyed cooling off outside.

Our house was pretty much in shambles at this point, so the girls created their own fun outside.

Jose finished up some last minute projects, like painting furniture.

We even ate our meals outside.

Finally, on Monday the 5th we got word that the houses had closed and the seller was out of our new house. We loaded up the truck and started taking boxes over.

After cleaning the Teralee house, we took one last picture for posterity. We will miss you, little house!
