In the middle of June, my sisters both came to visit for a weekend celebration! Jill's birthday was that week, so we began the weekend festivities with a family picnic at Sweet Cheeks Winery (where Jenna is getting married). Every Friday night in the summer they have wine tastings and live music out on the patio. It was great weather, and not too crowded.

The next day, Jill and I prepared for Jenna's shower. We bought food, champagne, cake, and decorations, and invaded my mom's house.
The cake was delicious, the flowers (from my mom's yard) were beautiful, and the company was great!
We played a few games and opened presents.
And ate cake, yum!

That night the girls stayed at my parents' house while we went out for the bachelorette party. The balloons were hours of fun! BALLOON PARTY!
The adult girls went out to dinner at the Ox and Fin, then hopped in a limo to complete a scavenger hunt. (Thanks, Jill, for setting it all up!)
It involved tiaras,
Costumes,
rollerblade races,
pyramids with unsuspecting bystanders,
planking with strangers,
standing on the street corner holding a sign,
making friends,
bowling a frame for a stranger,
and more costumes!
It was a very celebratory weekend, but by Sunday I was ready for a nap.
