Our day yesterday started off with a breakfast of ice cream cake. (For me. Bella and Jose had cereal. What can I say? I am a bad sharer.) I could probably just stop right there and you would agree that Thursdays are awesome, but there is more!
Yesterday, we had absolutely nothing to do. No places to go, no people to see. (Seriously, on that note if you moved away, please feel free to come back. I have a cute baby that I will bring when we hang out.)
Jose left for work, and Bells and I left with no destination planned. First stop, the park. Look, Bella in a swing! I think I have a bazillion pictures of this at various parks.
Next stop, lunch at Qdoba. Bella finally got to taste the goodness of a Naked Burrito. She was a fan. You will have to trust me on that one because I don't have photographic evidence.
Post-lunch we headed back home for nap time/ facebook/ google reader/ tv time. Once Bella woke up, I realized there were still 5 hours until Jose got home and we needed some entertainment. So, we went to visit Jose at work. Yay for Daddy time!
So, an hour later, we ended up at Lone Pine Farm. If you are from this area, you have probably gone through the haunted corn maze at Halloween time, or picked strawberries in the field. Instead, we were there to look at the goats.
Bella was a little skeptical, but she really liked watching me feed them.
I remembered a goat house from when we were there (for the corn maze, of course) and Bella loves animals. Fortunately for me, there was a lot more than I remembered. There were sheep! And cows! And some animal that I am guessing is an alpaca (if alpacas... alpaci? are like little llamas).
Isabella checked out the tractor.
And we wandered through the market and the area where you can pan for rocks or gold or some other treasure. Then, Bella spotted it and we were off. After a brief stop to look at rocks.
A playground with a swing!
Definitely a fun outing! Then we went home, hung out, ate dinner, and made cookies. I love Thursdays!
(Seriously, Oregon is pretty! You should all move here!)
