I don't know if you heard (but maybe you forgot since I am a month behind in posting), but it snowed in Oregon right before Christmas. Every few years we will get a couple inches, but it usually melts by the end of the day. This time, it stuck around for an entire week.
Since Jose and I work at a hospital, we don't get to take snow days. Our census was really high, so our work had a command center to make sure that we had enough staff to care for patients. So, Jose and I carpooled in my SUV. It was a little iffy getting the girls up the gigantic hill to their Abuela's, but we made it to work.
And it was very pretty!
After work, we had my dad pick up the girls in his 4 wheel drive car, and we met at my parents' house to go sledding!
Bella said she had been waiting for this moment all her life!
Later in the week, the girls and I built a snowman in our yard. Jose opted to stay inside where it was warm.
Bella could have stayed outside and played all day.
Snow days are exhausting!
