On Wednesday, Bella and I took a little adventure.
We had been telling her all week that we were going to see Elmo soon, but she wasn't really sure what that meant. After work I picked Isabella up from her abuela's, and we were off. First stop was Wendy's for a delicious dinner (and free parking across from the arena). Bella enjoyed her chicken nuggets, and REALLY enjoyed visiting with the restaurant full of kids all going to the show.
After dinner, we walked across the street to Matthew Knight Arena for the main event. Then, tragedy struck. Bella stubbed her toe on the stairs. She was hysterical! Eventually, she calmed down and we ventured inside and down to our seats. We were in the second row!
Then, tragedy struck again. Moments after this picture was taken, Bella's seat folded up and tried to eat her. Once again.... hysterics. Luckily, the cotton candy man pushed his cart by a minute or two later and saved the day.
The show began, and Bella was enchanted! She sang! She danced! She gave high fives to Zoe and Rosita! All in all, a success!
Love! But is it wrong that I chuckled a bit at the thought of poor, sweet Bella swallowed up by the folding chair? Sounds like an amazing time (save the two tragedies...).
