Weekend Wrapup

So, Day 6 of NaBloPoMo and I already missed a day. But, to make it up to you, you get 2 posts today.

This weekend was our first back from vacation and it seemed busier than usual. When I actually typed it out, it really wasn't that busy.

Saturday morning we lazed around until Jose decided that he was going to fix our leaky faucet on the front of the house. That went well for about 5 minutes until the damaged part snapped in half while he and his dad were trying to remove it. Several hours and trips to Home Depot later, I called a plumber. He came later that night, and Jose helped him fix it. $117 later our outdoor faucet was working again. Just in time for winter!

Saturday dinner was at Elmer's (obviously), and my cousin Tyler came along. He was in town for a conference and stayed with my parents. I haven't seen him in years, so it was good to catch up.

Satuday night was a Ducks victory! That gets it's own paragraph.

Sunday morning was church and Quizno's. After Bella woke up from her nap, Jose and I went to the Ducks basketball game. He got tickets from my parents for his birthday and I have never seen him so excited to go to an exhibition game. This NBA lockout is killing him!

Sunday evening I made taco soup for the week. Eli brought home pizza later, and it was amazing!

Now, back to work.
