Potential New Hobby

As I was browsing Etsy the other day, I had an epiphany! A few of my friends have shops on Etsy selling jewelry, baby car seat covers, wallets, etc. I thought that it sounded like a fun idea. I could have a hobby and sell some stuff online! I didn't want to be a copycat and make jewelry similar to those I know, and I really can't sew more than a button, so I went in search of something that I could make.

One of the wares that caught my interest was hand stamped jewelry. I recently bought a necklace/pin off Etsy for Stephanie's shower/wedding, and I loved it. I also really wanted to get a necklace with Isabella's name, but didn't really want to spend $35 on it.

(Great name, that is why I chose this shop!)

I did some research on how to actually stamp the jewelry. It seems like a relatively easy process that I could master... with a little practice. The materials aren't too big an investment.

There also are not any local people on Etsy that make hand stamped jewelry, so the market isn't completely flooded.

So... what do you think? Should I do it?
