It is no secret that Bella does not like to sleep. At all. Ever. We are finally at a place where she takes a 2 hour nap most days, and only wakes up once at night. For us, this is great progress!
When Bella wakes up at night, we usually bring her to our bed so we can go back to sleep. We thought, wouldn't it be great if Bella could just wake up and walk to our room so we don't have to get out of bed? So... we took the front panel off her crib to convert it into a toddler bed.
Bella loves it! She mostly has fun climbing in and out of bed during the day while we play. She also likes to "make her bed" which means pulling all the blankets off and then putting them back on.
So far, she hasn't gotten out by herself at night. When she wakes up she crys and waits for us to come get her. Maybe someday it will happen.
