This is a big year in the Marquez household because my baby is in elementary school! How did this happen so fast? She was so excited, and a little nervous.
This was the first year of all day kindergarten in our state, so the school had a new approach, "Kindergarten Camp" for the first 3 days. This allowed the teachers to see how kids interacted with others, and to place them with a teacher after getting to know them for a few days. Bella was put in Mr. Shane's class.
Natalia was a bit less excited for school to start.
Bella helped cheer her up. Natalia is much more shy, so she takes a while to warm up to new teachers and classmates.
Once we got there, she had a great time with her new friends and toys.
