Fire!

One day at work, I was sitting outside enjoying lunch with co-workers when saw smoke start to come out of the parking garage. Kandice went to investigate, and it seemed that a woman's truck had overheated and a man had stopped to help her. A few minutes later the man started screaming, "Get out of here! Run!!" We ran to find a fire alarm (no luck), and a few minutes later the fire department showed up.

The car had caught on fire, and smoke filled some of the stairwells and elevator shafts at the hospital. They evacuated the bottom two floors, and asked visitors to leave.

It was quite dramatic, and an hour or so later we were allowed to return. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but it was the talk of the place for a few days.
