Bella's Date Day

When I was little, I remember my mom setting up dates with me and each of my sisters. She called it our "Special Day."

Bella and I don't get a lot of alone time with Natalia being so little and still nursing. In March, I took a Friday off of work and had a "Date" with Bella.

In the morning, I dropped her off at preschool and had a few hours to run some errands. At noon, I picked her up and we headed to McDonald's for a Happy Meal. Next stop was the mall. We were going to see Bella's first movie in the theater. I picked a dollar movie, so if she hated it I was only out $3.

Upon arrival, we took a break at what turned out to be Bella's favorite place.

They had a big potty AND a little potty.

And a big sink AND a little sink. She was amazed!

Wreck It Ralph was a pretty good movie, we had popcorn and candy, and we left about 2/3 of the way through. After that, we hung out a home and played chalk.

It was great to spend one-on-one time with her, and I hope to continue this tradition with both the girls.
