Home Makeover: Marquez Edition

We got a little bit of a tax return this year, and we decided to do some of the projects we had been putting off.

First... new carpet! We took out most of the carpet when we (and by we I mean Jose) put in the wood floors last year, but the bedrooms were still carpeted. With 20 year old carpet. It was pretty... NOT. (That makes me think of middle school. Future Bella, please don't do that.) Also, by new I mean less used. When my parents got new carpet last year we took some of the old carpet, which was newer than our gross carpet. (Also... see why I don't write posts on Friday afternoon?) (Too many parentheses!!!)

 We also moved the nursery furniture into the baby's room. This weekend I will paint and take another picture. With a flash!

Next, Bella's big girl furniture. Ok, maybe not big girl, but intermediate girl? Not grown girl?

And... we got rid of the gigantic entertainment center. By got rid of, I mean put in the garage until my Super Awesome Garage Sale this spring. But we got a new one. Plus, a new tv. Yay!

Ok, I am done rambling. (Or am I?)
