The Rose Bowl

For Christmas, my parents got us all a trip to the Rose Bowl. On Jan. 1st, we headed out. It was Bella's first plane ride and she was EXCITED! This girl is obsessed with planes.

At the airport, she insisted on dragging my sister's purse behind her and calling it "my suitcase."

Once they called us to board, Bella stood up and screamed, "YAY, WE ARE GOING ON AN AIRPLANE!!!!" It was pretty hilarious.



Bella did great on the plane. Mostly because they bring you snacks AND soda. She was in heaven. We went up front to visit Gramma Jamma and Kappa in their seats, too.

After a little car seat snafu, we arrived at our hotel around midnight. Bella was still awake, of course!

The next morning, my family went to the Rose Parade while we opted to sleep in. We took Bella to Santa Ana to stay with Aiden and Esperanza while we went to the game. A car ride, parking adventure, train, walk, and shuttle later, we FINALLY made it to the game.

Thank goodness for bratwurst, and beverages. Thanks Franz!

The game was amazing, and HOT! It started with a stealth bomber flyover. Very cool!



We saw Jose's sister, Mike, and Will at the game. They ended up sitting in our same section some rows back.

Did I mention it was HOT? But totally worth it because...

The next day we lazed around, then headed to the airport.

After more Amazing Race type shenanigans, we were headed home ($180 poorer, but Bella got her own seat and I got a refund).
