Let the Birthday Week Begin

One of Isabella's favorite things is going to get the mail. She loves going outside and carrying the mail back in. She loves, loves when I open it and she can rip up all the envelopes and papers we don't need.

This week is extra fun because she is beginning to get birthday cards in the mail. Yesterday, she received a card from Aunt Jill. We practiced our Chinese (thanks, Kai Lan) and put stickers on ourselves.

Bella also received a package from her friend Clare (who has suprisingly good handwriting for a 9 month old). First, she had to check out the envelope.

Then, Bella admired the pretty wrapping.

Then, she ripped it open.

But you don't get to see what is inside yet. Not until her birthday!
