Function 4 Junction

This past weekend was the annual fundraiser for Junction City schools. Since Jose and I have been married, we have attended this event and admired all the old cars. Jose had always said that he wanted to get one of his cars fixed up enough to drive it in the cruise. This year he finally did it!

He took the 1963 Buick Wildcat convertible out there in the morning to show it in the Show and Shine. Apparently, there are quite a few Buick fans out there. Jose loves talking shop with other car fans, and he had a great time (and also got a wicked sunburn!). Saturday evening, my mom, dad, Bella, and I all headed out to ride along for the cruise. There were hundreds of cars there, hundreds of spectators, my favorite taco cart, and they closed down Highway 99 for the cruise!


We were quite popular! Bella loved the wind on her face. Little boys LOVE red convertibles. Everyone else loves a cute baby!
